Notice of Billingborough Parish Council Meeting

Sports Pavilion, Billingborough Recreation Ground on Tuesday 14 Sept 2021

Members of Billingborough Parish Council are hereby summoned to attend the above meeting commencing at 6.45pm. Members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting will be preceded with a Public Forum at 6.30pm, at which time any parishioner is invited to ask questions, make suggestions, raise issues or give feedback to the Council; All Members are requested to be in attendance. The Public Forum will be followed by the formal Council Meeting. This meeting will be recorded. Unless stated in the Agenda, any items raised at the Public Forum requiring a decision, will appear on the Agenda at the next meeting.

To resolve to approve the previously circulated accounts which include up to 31/08/2021(RFO; Decision – All)

To resolve to agree to the authorisation and payment of staff wages on a monthly basis. (RFO; Decision – All)

To discuss and agree if any further action required regarding appealing the rateable value assessment of the pavilion. (Chairman; Decision - All)

To discuss the new LALC offer of Internal Auditor provision, and agree the provision of the internal auditor for the current year.  (Chairman – Decision – All)

Administrative Matters:

To resolve to agree to the submission of the Village Survey, as completed and circulated previously, or to agree any amendments. (Chairman – Decision -All)

Update on the current situation regarding the rental of land and to discuss and agree the preferred option going forward.  (Clerk, Cllr Stafford; Decision – All)

To resolve to agree on which previously circulated quote to accept regarding gov.uk emails (Cllr Richardson/Clerk, Decision - All)

To discuss and agree by resolution, the best way to facilitate increased Police liaison (Chairman/Cllr Surtees, Decision – All).

To agree to changes to any current Cllr roles, also taking in to account new Cllrs. (Chairman – Decision – All)

To resolve to agree to the proposed closure date, 31 Oct 2021, for the tennis courts. (Chairman, Decision – All)
